On the Job

Dutch Bro's employee Moises making an Aftershock Rebel on Wednesday afternoon on October 24 at the Pacific Blvd location in Albany, Oregon. Moises is the head barista at Dutch bros, he can do any job but his favorite is working the window. He has been employed at dutch bros for 5 years and he says the Dutch community is one of the reasons why he continues to work at a place he loves.  Statistics caller Meah Carley works the Linn-Benton men's basketball game Wednesday night on October 24. She keeps track of all the player stats for the home and visiting teams. LB was taking on the University of Oregon Club team. Roadrunners won the game making their record 2-0 in the preseason. This is Carley's second year in this job. In addition, she is the starting setter for the Linn-Benton Volleyball team, which is undefeated.

My First Blog Post

Hi, my name is Avery Spikerman and I am currently a Psychology major at Linn Benton Community College. I am also a student athlete and I am a part of the Women's Basketball team here at LB. One thing I really like to do is take photos of sporting events, but more importantly basketball games. I also enjoy taking photos of nature, whether that be on a hike, road trip, or the sunsets.  My Mom has been a photographer for over 20 years and I really look up to her and her passion for photography. Therefore all of my goals are based on my ability to help her with her photo shoots.  1.  I want to become really good at using Lightroom/photoshop, to then be able to edit photos that her and I take together, to make her job easier, or ones of my own.  2. I want to be able to use a camera and know how everything works. For example all of the settings and in particular, what setting I need to be in depending on the photos I want to achieve. 3. overall I just want to be a better photographer and
