Brooklyn Willard


 


Brooklyn Willard, the starting outside hitter for the Linn-Benton Women's Volleyball team. 





Willard has been playing volleyball since she was in third grade. She has had 12 years of non-stop hard work and competitiveness and doesn't plan to stop anytime soon. This is her second year at Linn-Benton and after this school year she plans to further her academic and athletic career at either Western Oregon University or Eastern Oregon University. She plans to earn her bachelor's degree in exercise science. Willard said instead of playing in court/volleyball shoes, she prefers playing in basketball shoes, specifically the Nike Sabrina 2.

My First Blog Post

Hi, my name is Avery Spikerman and I am currently a Psychology major at Linn Benton Community College. I am also a student athlete and I am a part of the Women's Basketball team here at LB. One thing I really like to do is take photos of sporting events, but more importantly basketball games. I also enjoy taking photos of nature, whether that be on a hike, road trip, or the sunsets.  My Mom has been a photographer for over 20 years and I really look up to her and her passion for photography. Therefore all of my goals are based on my ability to help her with her photo shoots.  1.  I want to become really good at using Lightroom/photoshop, to then be able to edit photos that her and I take together, to make her job easier, or ones of my own.  2. I want to be able to use a camera and know how everything works.
